Net 25 has reported that Eraño Manalo, Iglesia ni Cristo leader, has passed away Monday August 31, 2009.

Manalo had been serving as INC's Executive Minister since succeeding his father Felix Manalo in 1963.

The Iglesia ni Cristo was founded in 1914 and has become the largest indigenous Christian religious organization that originated in the Philippines.
