Senator Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III's girlfriend, Valenzuela City Councilor Shalani Soledad, said Wednesday that she will support the reluctant presidential candidate if ever he decides to run for the highest post in the land.

"Whatever his decision, I will fully support him," the 29-year-old councilor said.

She, however, refused to give Noynoy’s girlfriend to stand by her man more comments, preferring to keep a low profile on the expected candidacy of her boyfriend.

"Hindi naman niya (ako) pinagbabawalan, it’s just a personal decision on my part," she said.

She also said that she had no prior knowledge about the withdrawal of Senator Manuel “Mar” Roxas II from his quest for the presidency, which he announced Tuesday night, to give way to Noynoy.

Soledad is a two-term city councilor.
