JFC slates Lifestyle Expo on Sept. 11-13

The Joint Foreign Chamber (JFC) is spearheading local industries in tapping the strong domestic market by making its export-oriented products available to the local consumers, which are relatively in a better position than the exports market.

To push for the local products, the JFC is organizing a Lifestyle Expo on September 11 to 13 at the Megatrade Hall 1 in SM Megamall that will feature a discussion group on the country’s 7 winners in the areas of agri-business, creative industries, IT and BPO, tourism, infrastructure, manufacturing with logistics component, and mining.

For the discussion group, the JFC would like to lead the discussion on the food security; stronger push for the creative industries; strengthening of the IT, BPO and knowledge industries for its enormous potential; an aggressive and dynamic tourism with the passage of the Tourism Act; the neglected infrastructure development of the country; a synchronized manufacturing and logistics facilities and; getting the acts together of the church and civil societies to support for responsible mining.
