DoH staff inspired to work hard
SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union — The staff and personnel of the Department of Health in Region I were elated by official reports of the Presidential Anti-Graft Commission (PAGC) that ranked anew the Department of Health (DoH) as the most compliant government agency in the campaign against graft and corruption.
Region 1 DoH Director Eduardo Janairo said PAGC’s consistent vote for the DoH with the highest points among l09 government agencies “for compliance with the requirements of the Integrity Development Action Plan (IDAP) in the first half of the year” has inspired the staff and personnel here and all over the country to work harder and adhere to their service-oriented work ethics.”
Earlier, Secretary Duque cited the department’s consistent record in the anti-corruption drive as “part of its policy aimed at eradicating diseases which should also apply to a person’s value system.”
It was learned that to be cited by PAGC, a government agency, has to pass its 20 or more criteria or decisive factors.”
Director Janairo said that the health department’s consistent support for the national government’s endeavors in fighting graft and corruption on all levels has earned the respect and support of the community.
