“It is not worth getting a statement from Rufa Mae.”

This is what the camp of Rufa Mae Quinto told Manila Bulletin Online on DJ Mo’s alleged remark that Rufa Mae is engaged to Presidential son, Mikey Arroyo.

“Kulang kasi siya (DJ Mo) sa pansin (kaya niya sinabi 'yon). Kawawa naman,” the source said.

A few days ago, Rufa Mae had already addressed the rumors linking her to this and that personality. It’s not funny anymore, the actress said.

“Kung sino man (siya na nagkakalat ng tsismis na yan), kapal niya, di ba?” Rufa Mae said.

The source added that Rufa Mae thinks DJ Mo might have thought of the Mikey Arroyo connection because the actress had once mentioned her beau is from Pampanga and “parang royal family dun, ganun.”

But it’s far from the truth -- despite Arroyo being a Kapampangan and a member of a powerful clan from said province.

“Kasi pati siguro, minsan ng na-link si Rufa Mae kay Mikey so, dun niya nakuha. Pero walang katotohanan. Papansin lang si DJ Mo,” said the source, adding that the link is preposterous because the congressman is already married.

Rufa Mae has consistently said in interviews that her beau is someone she has known since she was 13 years old.
