ABS-CBN finall brings you the highly anticipated drama/suspense series this year that will provide you your nightly dose of thrills and chills starting Monday, Sept. 7, “Florinda.”

From the success of “Patayin Sa Sindak Si Barbara” and “Maligno,” ABS-CBN gives its viewers the third installment from the Susan Roces Cinema Collection and the most-thrilling television series set to redefine a portion of the Primetime Bida block as it stages the much awaited return of Philippines’ one and only Diamond Star on TV, Maricel Soriano as Florinda.

Under the direction of Rahyan Carlos, “Florinda” tackles a story of everlasting love untiringly searching for its “happily ever after” that is bounded by suspense and thrill created by the imaginative minds of every character that are triggered by their selfish and selfless intentions.

Maricel will give life to the role of Florinda, the woman seeking for her one true love.

Maricel has been very primed for the airing of her comeback on television. “Excited na rin ako sa primetime airing ng ‘Florinda.’ Syempre naman very ready na ako… ready na muling mapanood ng mga Kapamilya natin sa telebisyon,” Maricel shared. “We’ve poured out sweat and hard work sa project na ito. Kaya it’s really about time na matunghayan naman ng mga taga-subaybay ang pinaghirapan naming lahat.”

Alongside with the Diamond Star are stars who have shined in their own way in the Philippine entertainment industry: Cherry Pie Picache, Nikki Gil, Roxanne Guinoo, Jay Manalo, William Martinez, Zanjoe Marudo, Carla Martinez and Aaron Juntas.

“Florinda” is adapted from the movie of the same title originally starred by Susan Roces in 1973.
