Despite both of them issuing statements that they are—as per industry norm--just 'special friends,' the buzz is that, yes, Dennis Trillo and Pauleen Luna are really an item.

A source told Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online that the two stars actually celebrated their second month as sweethearts last Sept. 6, and that Pauleen even secured the green light from her parents prior to going steady with Dennis.

Before Dennis, Pauleen was linked to actor Marvin Agustin and Valenzuela Mayor Sherwin Gatchalian.

In earlier interviews, Pauleen had called Dennis a "special friend." She also admitted going out on dates with him.

"He's very special to me. We go out and enjoy each other’s company," Pauleen said.

The young actress also admitted in the same interview that she had asked Dennis about his relationship with Cristine Reyes, saying that she would only agree to go out with him if he confirms that the relationship is over.

In a recent interview during the FHM magazine collector's edition launch, Cristine said she's happy if Dennis and Pauleen are sweethearts.

Cristine even told reporters that she won’t take it against Pauleen "because she’s my friend".

Pauleen and Dennis's love affair is said to have blossomed during the taping of the TV series, “Adik Sa 'Yo.”
