World Routes reels off Sept. 13 in Beijing
World Routes, the biggest event in the global air transport, will be held in Beijing on 13th-15th September 2009.
Beijing Capital International Airport (BCIA), the event host, will be staging a “Chinese Spectacular” show and is offering the opportunity for delegates to go Dragon Boat Racing, visit the Great Wall of China and will be holding the gala dinner in the Great Hall of the People.
There will also be a number of tours offered to all delegates, many of which are complementary, including, amongst many others, a tour of the Forbidden City, which is one of Beijing's top tourist attractions, and tours of the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
Mike Berman, Vice President Commercial, RDG said: “This year’s hosts have really gone all out with the activities for delegates to get involved in but not only will the activities be something to behold; there is so much for airports, airlines and tourism authorities to do to further their business opportunities.”
“This year, we will see the largest ever Chinese contingency with 63 Chinese airport delegates, including representatives from Beijing Capital International Airport, Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport and Mangshi Airport; and 85 Chinese airline delegates from carriers such as Air China, China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, to name but a few. High-level delegations from the CAAC and a number of Chinese tourism authorities will also be in attendance.
"Delegates at the event, which is being held at the New China International Exhibition Centre, will be attending more chalet meetings and on-stand meetings than ever before.” (EHL)
