Kapuso actor and “Adik Sa’Yo” leading man Dennis Trillo is recovering from a painful accident that happened last Wednesday (Sept. 9).

According to “24 Oras,” Trillo along with two friends, JB Borbajo and Maxine Eigenmann, went to Boracay (Tuesday morning) for a vacation that turned out to be an unforgettable and traumatic incident.

In the said report, Trillo’s manager Popoy Caritativo said that Dennis’ group was swimming around 1 p.m. Borbajo tried to dive but slipped and then knocked himself on a rock. Trillo managed to grab his hand but they were washed further when big waves hit them and got separated. Borbajo died on the spot.

Trillo and Eigenmann sustained wounds and bruises on different parts of the body and were rushed to the hospital. Caritativo also added as of press time, Trillo is still in shock, crying, and could not believe what had happened because they were just having fun. Trillo returned to  Manila on Sept. 10.
