Young actor Mark Herras does not discount the possibility that his TV series, “Ikaw Sana,” might reignite his feelings for his co-star, ex-girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.

“Kung before (ang) sinasabi ko ay malay natin (baka) someday (ay) magkaroon ng ano, (ngayon) ire-reverse ko nang konti: may possibility na maibalik ang dati,” said Mark.

Or hasn’t it happened already?

“Hindi pa naman.”

Mark added that if they give love a second chance, he wants Jennylyn to be the last woman in his life.

“Kumpara dati na immature ako sa relationship, ngayon ay may mga natutunan na din naman ako. Hindi na ako pumapasok sa isang relationship ng basta-basta kundi pinag-aaralan ko muna kung dapat na ba,” he said.

He said he is tired of playing the field.

“Maraming nagsasabi na parang seryoso nga ako ngayon (pagdating sa pakikipagrelasyon). Kasi nga, hindi naman nakakatuwa na magpalit-palit ka ng girlfriend. Every time na maghihiwalay kayo, manliligaw ka na naman, panibagong pakikisama na naman,” he said.

Jennylyn has several advantages over other girls when it comes to Mark: He knows her best among all of his past girlfriends, and he is a godfather to her baby, Alex Jazz.

The actor himself says that he has no issue falling in love with someone who already has a baby.

“Hindi naman porke may baby na ang isang tao (ay) hindi mo na siya puwedeng mahalin,” he said using general terms.

Another young actress, Pauleen Luna, is also cast in “Ikaw Sana.” In the story, Pauleen is in a love triangle with Mark and Jennylyn.

In real life, Mark is said to have been the reason Pauleen suddenly ‘disassociated’ herself from her rumored boyfriend, Dennis Trillo.

If it were true, will that be a case of art imitating life…or the other way around?
