TV host Boy Abunda is willing to sell his two houses to help finance the presidential bid of Sen. Noynoy Aquino.

This was according to Abunda’s co-host and best friend Kris Aquino in an interview aired on “Bandila” and “The Correspondents” on  Sept. 22.

Abunda’s mother is also said to be willing to sell their house in Samar for Noynoy’s campaign kitty.

“Pati si nanay (of Boy Abunda), sinabi ni nanay ‘Isama mo na ‘yong bahay natin (sa Samar).’ Tapos, sabi ni Boy, ‘(Only) the two houses that we have here ,’” Kris revealed in Bandila.

“Tapos, sabi niya (Boy), ‘Wag ‘yong sa Samar dahil ‘yon 'yong ancestral home.’ Binuo  ni Boy ‘yon for nanay. Pero si nanay ang nagsabi, ‘Hindi, Boy, isama mo na rin ‘yon.’”

Needless to say, Kris appreciates Boy’s gesture.

“Marami na siyang ginive-up para sa amin kasi sinabi niya na it’s a different matter kasi pamilya raw. Tingin naman niya, maayos. Pero hindi pa namin napag-uusapan ‘yon, but I think sa aming dalawa, there was no need to even discuss it.

“‘Yong kay Boy kasi parang…alam mo ‘yong friendship namin kasi, it’s more than just friendship (kundi) part of the family talaga siya.”

In “The Correspondents” episode, Kris reiterated her intention to sell her and James’s house to be able to add to her brother’s campaign funds.

“Sinabi ko sa kanya (Noynoy), ‘James and I (have already) talked about it.’ Kikitain ko rin naman uli, kikitain rin uli ni James. So, sinabi ko, ‘The sale amount is yours.’”

Kris said Sen. Noynoy is opposed to the idea.

“Sabi ni ‘Noy (sa akin), ‘Thank you very much pero hindi ako pinalaki ng dad na kukunan ko ng bahay ‘yong mga anak mo.’”

The talk show queen added that she’s willing to give Noynoy half of her potential earnings from “pending endorsements.”

This early, a lot of celebrities have signified their intention to campaign for Sen. Noynoy for free. They are Claudine Barretto, Bea Alonzo, Mariel Rodriguez, Martin Nievera, Ogie Alcasid, and Jim Paredes.
