Most affordable mobile phones available from Torque

Just in time for the coming holiday season, Torque mobile phones bring you their latest handsets, a digital camera, and a digital camcorder that’s sure to capture the budget conscious techies.

Apart from the D80, D90, and C100 models, Torque introduces the D100 dual SIM phone that has a more stylish design, a 1.3-Megapixel camera that can shoot photos and videos, and a micro-SD slot for storage expansion.

The D100 also features dual standby, FM radio, alarm clock, stopwatch, calculator, calendar, converter and Bluetooth connectivity.

There’s also the DTV100, Torque’s latest dual SIM, dual standby phone that lets users watch analogue television broadcast for free on its 2.4-inch screen.

The DTV100 measures approximately 4.2 inches long, 2 inches wide, and more than half an inch thick, making it one of the most compact in its category. It also carries features such as an FM radio, organizer applications, and a 1.3-megapixel with an affordable price.

For avid users of the Windows mobile platform, Torque also released the V6 mobile phone with a built in 1GB ROM, 128RAM with Wi-Fi capability.

Torque not only has mobile phones in their line-up, but also digital multimedia devices like the OS-5 and the ES-5 HD. With the OS-5, shutterbugs can now have a very affordable 5.2-Megapixel digital camera that has a 2.4-inch LCD display protected with a full aluminum metal housing.

The OS-5 also has an 8X zoom, can record video, PictBridge compatible, and has an onboard 64MB memory.

On the other hand, The ES-5 HD is a slim, digital H.264 video camcorder that offers HD 720p movie resolution that has and HDMI digital AV output, 5-Megapixel still camera, a 2.4 LCD display, and has a voice recorder function and MP3 player.

Both the ES-5 HD and the OS-5 can be used as a webcam when connected to a computer and can support 2GB micro-SD cards for memory expansion.

“Offering very affordable phones for the Filipino market doesn’t end there. Torque mobile phones are bundled with one year warranty for parts and service and six (6) months warranty for accessories like the batteries, charger, and the headset.

We currently have 27 authorized service centers nationwide which we plan to extend further by the end of the year,” said Chris Uyco, President and CEO of Topstrasse Global Inc., the company that brought Torque mobile phones in the country.

The company has also announced plans of releasing an Android phone that is currently being tested for the local market. The 2.5G low-to-mid-end Android phone may be made available locally by the end of the year.
