Singer Rachelle Ann Go refuses to label her relationship with fellow singer Gab Valenciano as complicated.

“Ayokong isiping complicated kasi baka habang buhay na maging complicated ang love life. Siyempre, hangga’t may nararamdaman, kailangang ipaglaban mo,” said she in an interview aired on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Sept. 24.

For weeks now, talks are rife that the two are not in speaking terms and that they are heading to splitsville.

Reports have it that Rachelle Ann didn’t relish the idea of Gab communicating with his ex-girlfriends through Facebook. Another version is that Gab’s mom, Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, does not approve of Rachelle Ann for her son.

Rachelle was quick to deny the second allegation. "No. Si Tita Angeli, sobrang ano pa siya… supportive sa amin ni Gab. Nagbibigay pa siya ng advice. Walang problema at all,” said she.

Yet a tabloid reported that during the “As 1” concert, Rachelle snubbed Gab’s kiss when he approached to give her a buzz on the cheeks.

Instead, the report said, Rachelle turned elsewhere to greet somebody, leaving Gab embarrassed.

Rachelle herself, though hopeful that they will weather this trial in their young romance, gave an uncertain summary of how things are between them at this point.

“I’m praying about the relationship…kung ano ang dapat naming gawin, kung ano ang tamang desisyon.”
