Manila Bulletin and its chairman Dr. Emilio T. Yap launch nationwide fund drive to help Tropical Storm Ondoy victims, with their own donation of P2-M, accept voluntary contributions at Manila Bulletin offices from September 30 to October 11. Donations will be turned over to PNRC and DSWD on Monday, October 12.

The devastation caused by tropical storm Ondoy has caused suffering and death to hundreds of unfortunate victims.

The Manila Bulletin chairman, directors, officers, editors, and staff once again appeal to their readers, advertisers, friends, supporters, concerned citizens, government officials, business and industrial establishments, banking and financial institutions, foreign embassies and communities, private and public organizations, to support this fund drive, a worthy cause in keeping with the spirit of sharing with our less fortunate brothers and sisters.

Only contributions in cash or in checks payable to “MANILA BULLETIN TROPICAL STORM ONDOY VICTIMS” will be accepted. All donations will be duly receipted.

The names of the donors will be published in the Manila Bulletin at the earliest opportunity.

All contributions received and published in the Manila Bulletin will be turned over on Monday, October 12, in equal proportions to the Philippines National Red Cross (PNRC) and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to help Tropical Storm Ondoy Victims either for food, medicine, clothing, or funeral expenses at their sole discretion.

Voluntary contributions may be sent to any of the following Manila Bulletin offices during office hours from September 30 except on Sunday.
