Two storms in the Philippines

In a press conference Monday afternoon, PAGASA released a statement saying that there are already two weather disturbances in the Philippines' area of responsibility.

Tropical storm "Pepeng" (International name: Parma) will remain stationary for at least three days over parts of northwestern Laoag City in Ilocos Norte.

While typhoon "Quedan" (International name: "Melor") has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility east of Northern Luzon. It is forcasted to move west Northwest at 26 kph with a maximum sustained winds of 205 kph. Parts of Metro Manila will experience cloudy to partly cloudy skies Tuesday.
