Energy-saving devices for smart homeowners
Electronic devices used in the house now function beyond making homemakers' lives easy – these gadgets have actually become tools to help save energy and, in effect, the environment.
Innovatronix, a Filipino company that has been making innovations in the field of electronics, offers energy-saving devices for the home that are simple yet functional.
The devices were developed to help homeowners regulate electric consumption and help maintain appliances by protecting them sudden power surges or brownouts.
One such product is the Tronix Automatic Night Light (ANL) – a heavy-duty sensor switch that automatically turns on the CFL when the surrounding turns dark, and turns off on its own during daytime.
The Tronix ANL has a light sensor switch about 5 mm in diameter and can be used for CFL up to 60 watts. It is fully capable of rotating in any direction, making it very easy to use when placed anywhere in the house.
Another product is the Tronix Power On Delay (POD10). Brownouts, power failures and severe voltage fluctuations can damage electronic appliances, but the Tronix POD10 protects homes and office appliances and equipment by delaying electrical connection until the power stabilizes.
Appliances with compressors need at least two minutes for their pressure to equalize. With this device, refrigerators, freezers, TV sets, audio systems and fax machines are protected from sudden electricity surge because the Tronix POD10 has a four to six minutes time delay.
The products are now available in selected hardware stores and in all Tronix Imaging Centers, Tronix Kiosks and Tronix PrintBoxes nationwide. It can also be purchased online at http://innovatronixph.multiply.com.
