'Lovers in Paris' stars Zanjoe Marudo, KC Concepcion, and Piolo Pascual

It’s pay it forward time for “Lovers in Paris” actor Hyubs Azarcon who organized a golf tournament for the benefit of his co-star, Piolo Pascual’s charity, Hebreo Foundation.

Proceeds from the fundraising event held last Oct. 4 at the Veterans Golf and Country Club in Quezon City will help finance the schooling of Piolo’s sponsored students.

The celebrities who graced the event were Piolo, Zanjoe Marudo (also of “Lovers”), and martial arts champion Monsour del Rosario.

Meanwhile, Piolo, along with his family and friends, is still helping Ondoy victims through relief operations.

“Hindi naman tayo titigil sa ganito lang, dapat dire-diretso,” said he on the matter on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Oct. 5.

Piolo added that he conducted a separate outreach work with leading lady KC Concepcion because “it's better to spread out, extend your help in other areas.”

Zanjoe, on the other hand, prioritizes helping close friends who were affected by the calamity.

“Sa maliit na paraan, tinutulungan ko ‘yung mga kakilala kong nasalanta. Pero para doon sa iba pa nating mga kababayan, tumutulong ako through ABS (Sagip Kapamilya).”
