‘Jetsetter Dad’ bows out of ‘PBB’

Merely two days after entering the “Pinoy Big Brother” house, JP Lagumbay volunteered to exit in favor of his job.
The “Jetsetter Dad of QC” told Big Brother on Oct. 6 that he is quitting the show because the airline company he works for as flight steward did not approve his request for temporary leave.
"Wala (akong pinagsisisihan) kasi nagawa ko ang kailangan kong gawin, though may mga consequences,” JP told “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Oct. 8.
Happy to reunite with his family, he added: “Ang importante sa'kin ay ‘yung maibigay ‘yung pangangailangan ng family ko.”
JP’s move put twin brother, JM, at risk of being kicked out as per “PBB” rule. However, Big Brother made an exception and used the situation to incorporate a new twist to the twist.
That is, for JM, the “Delightful Dad of QC,” to stay in the house to play both himself and JP without anyone noticing---or he gets evicted.
It can be recalled that during “The Magical Reveal” opening night of “PBB Double Up,” the twins, together with another pair, Kenny and Toffi, were tasked to switch houses and identities without generating any suspicion among the housemates.
Three new housemates have been announced to join “PBB” on Oct. 10. A “TV Patrol” report that aired on Oct. 8 hinted that one of them is a transgender.
