ABS-CBN’s next big stars will collide in the latest series to hit the Hapontastic, a TV remake titled, "Nagsimula sa Puso."

The series, directed by Malu Sevilla, offers a new kind of drama which showcases romance and sensuality to boot. 

The lead stars of "Nagsimula" are Maja Salvador, Jason Abalos, and Coco Martin. Maja plays the role of Celina, a woman whose life circles in a routine because of her obedience to her mother. Jason and Urian’s 2009 Best Supporting Actor Coco play her suitors.

World Vision Ambassador Nikki Gil contributes to the complex love triangle as Charie who has feelings for one of Maja’s suitors.

The TV version of “Nagsimula sa Puso” is produced by Charo-Santos Concio who also owns the right to the film version which was released in 1990 under Vision Films. The movie starred Hilda Koronel, Armida Siguion-Reyna, the late Jay Ilagan, and Richard Gomez.

ABS-CBN’s “Nagsimula sa Puso” has Deo Endrinal as the executive in charge of production; Rondel Lindayag, creative manager; Dagang Vilbar, production manager; and Carlina dela Merced, executive producer.

‘Nagsimula sa Puso’ airs on Oct. 12, 2009.
