After successfully holding a mobile passporting for residents of Valenzuela City, another one was scheduled by the city's Liga ng mga Barangay ( LnB) to help facilitate the fast issuance of passports.

Councilor Alvin Feliciano, LnB president, said that through this mobile passport service residents no longer need to visit the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Pasay City to apply for their passports.

He said the mobile passporting will be made available next month and residents who are interested to avail of the service need to bring the required documents and application fee.

For new applicants, they should have a certified true copy of their birth certificate duly authenticated by the National Statistics Office (NSO), at least three copies of passport-sized photo with royal blue background, and photocopies of at least two valid IDs.

Those who will be renewing their passport need only to prepare a photocopy of their previous passport in addition to two valid IDs.

Feliciano reminded that residents have only until October 23 to submit their application forms and other requirements and advised them to visit immediately their respective barangay or the LnB.
