DMIA gets recognition from magazine
CLARK FREEPORT – Developments at the DMIA has caught anew the attention of an international magazine and recognized it as the “Most Promising Upstart Airport” during a recent international event for airlines worldwide.
“This recognition shows that the DMIA and the developments pertaining to its operation is gradually gaining popularity and has impressed magazines such as anna.aero that will introduce it to the United Kingdom where it is widely circulated and eventually, to the world,” said Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) President and CEO Victor Jose I. Luciano.
Anna.aero magazine is one of the leading airline network news and analysis in the United Kingdom which covers airport developments, network planning used by airline and airport worldwide.
The recognition was given during the 15th World Routes Development Forum held in Beijing, China on September 13 to 15.
“We at DMIA are honored that we have been recognized as one of the promising upstart airports during the Routes Forum and we will surely continue to grow because of the support of foreign and local carriers flying out of DMIA,” Luciano added.
CIAC was the more than 300 participants including airline representatives in the 15th World Routes Development Forum where the Clark airport body showcased its programs and developments at the DMIA to the airlines of the world.
Luciano was represented by CIAC Corporate Planning Manager Darwin Cunanan as head of the CIAC delegation. Delegation members include Atty. Milanie Reyes, Lyn Sanchez, Jesito Ponio Jr. and Atty. Pearl Sagmit.
In the September 18 issue of anna.aero magazine, DMIA was recognized as Most Promising Upstart Airport being a first-time exhibitor during the 15th World Routes Development Forum held in Beijing, China.
“The DMIA continues to attract passengers and has posted a positive growth despite the global economic situation. The airport is going strong and CIAC is committed to give the traveling public world-class service,” Luciano said.
“We expect more flights and passengers this year which will fuel the continuing growth and development of the DMIA,” he added.
