Carlos Agassi not down with illness
Rapper-actor Carlos Agassi has refuted rumors that he's suffering from cirrhosis of the liver reportedly caused by too much steroid intake.
"Wala po akong sakit. I'm in good health," said the muscled actor with a laugh to “Showbiz News Ngayon” reporters on Oct. 13. The interview was held during the Star Magic Benefit Fashion Show which Carlos attended.
Carlos thinks the rumor was spawned by his detractors who did so out of jealousy.
He went on to taunt them saying, "'Yong mga inggit, tama na, please."
According to the actor-rapper, his well-sculpted, to-die-for body is a product of long gym workouts and not supplementary medication.
"I've been working out since I was a teen," he said. “I love working out.”
Carlos has been away from the limelight for many years now. He admits he misses doing the things he used to do when he was still active in show business.
"Actually, nami-miss ko rin ang sigawan ng mga tao, 'yong akting, 'yong pag-iyak," he said.
He is willing to reactivate his acting career, even pointing out that he is the youngest among The Hunks (ABS-CBN male group of actors-singers) at 30 years old.
Carlos was last seen in the 2008 fantaserye, “Dragona,” starring Shaina Magdayao.
While away from show business, Carlos tends to their family business.
