Gruesome Valenzuela slay solved
The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) announced on Tuesday that the gruesome killing of a call center employee last August 10 has been solved with the arrest of one of the suspects.
NCRPO director Chief Supt. Roberto Rosales said the victim, Antonio Mendoza Tan Jr., was stabbed several times. His body was discovered by the police inside his abandoned vehicle along McArthur Highway in Marulas, Valenzuela City.
One of the suspects was identified as Geralyn Galinea, 27. A nurse and midwife by profession, she works at the Manila City Hall.
Rosales said Galinea was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Danilo Manalastas of Branch 7 of the Regional Trial Bulacan.
He said Galinea’s husband, Lucky Galinea, is also a co-accused in the gruesome killing of Tan but he is still at large.
