Ramil enters Philippine territory

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), the country's premier weather agency, monitored on Friday Tropical storm 'Ramil' (internationally named "Lupit") at 1,300 kilometers east of Bicol Region.
As of 11 a.m of the same day, Ramil was spotted moving towards the west northwest direction of central and northern Luzon, carrying maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers/hour (kph) and gustiness of 90 kph. The weather bureau also noted that Ramil might intensify further as it has been brewing out in the seas for more than 24 hours now, before entering the Philippine territory Friday evening.
The low pressure area, embedded on an intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) eyed Thursday afternoon on the west coast of Palawan will continue to bring cloudy skies, rainshowers, and thunderstorms to Southern Luzon and the Visayas region, according to Pagasa's latest weather bulletin.
