Get ready for a fast-paced and big-time entertainment as GMA-7’s top-rating and widely popular game show, “Family Feud” returns to family homes starting on Oct. 19.

“Family Feud” will be hosted by multi-talented and seasoned actor Richard Gomez. Richard Gomez has a lot of surprises for the show, like big cash prizes, bonus give-aways, and a brand-new look of the show, with high-tech playing mode, advanced lighting effects, fabulous studio arrangement to make the show at par with international counterparts.

A nationwide audition has been launched for families who want to experience the thrill of being live contestants in the game show. Auditions are being held in key cities like in Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Dagupan. The show will provide travel and accommodation for the families who pass the auditions and are flown in to Manila.

The battle is for two competing families – of four members each – as they try to outsmart each other with what the “survey said” in polls conducted with 100 individuals. Whoever accumulates the most points in four rounds advances to the “Fast Money” round where they may win the grand prize as much as P150,000.

In “Fast Money,” two representatives of the winning family must separately try to name the most popular answers to five survey question in 20 and 25 seconds, respectively. If the total combined score of their answers reach at least 200 points, they win the jackpot, and return the following day as the depending champion and has another chance at the jackpot which has been increased to P250,000.

The defending family has a maximum of four lucky tries at the jackpot, after which, they yield the crown to a new champion.
