BAGUIO CITY — The city government has been receiving numerous proposals to put an end to its worsening garbage problem but it seems the conflicting views of local officials are hampering the local government from advancing to a better option to save the city’s resources from being turned into waste.

Lately, a group of Filipino-Americans from the city is proposing a cheaper and environment-friendly way of disposing garbage rather than hauling the same to the sanitary landfill in Capas, Tarlac or putting up the city’s own engineered sanitary landfill.

EniroCycle Limited, a United States-based company, is pushing for the conversion of carbon dioxide emissions into renewable energy.
