A residential development is set to bring a different take to condominium living in Quezon City primarily designed for yuppies and young professionals.

The Capital Towers, a project of Federal Land, one of the country’s biggest property developers, is a contemporary living environment. It has played a critical part in the 2009 Metrobank Art and Design (MADE) Competition, pushing the envelope for eco-friendly habitats and allowing interior designers to come up with different design possibilities.

Using recycled and indigenous materials, young interior designers transformed blank spaces into inspiring green homes.

Karina Diana Cortez emerged as the grand winner with her “Search and Rescue” motif, applying recycled materials such as wood blocks, glass mirrors and cut mouldings.

The new project not only opened its doors to young interior designers but also offered designing ideas for future residents, whether they choose a one-bedroom or two-bedroom unit.

Units are already equipped with ceramic tiles (for the kitchen, bath and toilet), teakwood parquet flooring (living and dining rooms, bedrooms) as well as granite countertop, splashboard, laminated doors and kitchen base cabinet.

These quality finishes combined with floor-to-ceiling windows signify the building’s aim to provide comfortable family living.
Aside from the elegant interiors, Federal Land’s new project has a dedicated property management team. It likewise has a fully-automated sprinkler and heat or smoke detector system, centralized garbage disposal system, and 24-hour security.
The development also has a concealed sanitary piping system, encouraging efficient water management system in line with environmental sustainability.

The development, which is located along E. Rodriguez Avenue in Quezon City, also unveils a lot of benefits. Its prime location means residents need not go through long commutes. The Capital Towers is easily within reach of schools, health and beauty shops and similar other commercial establishments.
Leading medical institutions like St. Luke’s Medical Center, Delos Santos-STI Medical Center, and the National Children’s Hospital are within the vicinity.

Various schools and universities are also within reach, some are even walking distance: St. Joseph’s College, and Trinity University of Asia, just to name a few.

In addition, churches like Christ the King and Sto. Nino de Violago, and establishments like Pure Gold, Walter Mart, and Quezon City Sports Club are also in the environs.

Going to Cubao, Timog and Sta. Mesa area is also just a few minutes’ drive. Public transportation is accessible, 24 hours a day.

A landscaped podium garden provides a peaceful sanctuary. Residents will enjoy the swimming pool and the reflecting pool with water features. Fitness and recreational amenities include the jogging path, fitness center/gym, and children’s area. It is slated for turnover in 2010.
