After giving birth to a lovely little girl early this year, Vina Morales says she is now raring to pick up where she left off.

“I missed show business,” says the actress-singer. “I want to work again.”

Morales was among the good number of celebrities who participated in the two-hour benefit fashion show, “Magic for A Cause,” held a few weeks ago.

“I wanted to be part of the show as I really felt for the victims of Ondoy,” Morales discloses, adding that she herself had suffered from the killer typhoon’s wrath.

“I was among those affected din kasi. My own home [in Greenhills, San Juan] was inundated… binaha din kami.”

Morales says she is now busy practicing for the Star Magic World Concert Tour, which will be held at the Araneta Coliseum on November 14.

It will mark Vina’s first live singing engagement after giving birth to her baby, Ceanna.

“That’s why I’m so excited,” Morales gushes.

The singer admits she is now trying to slim down. “Konti pa,” she says with a laugh. “At least around 120 [lbs] ang target ko.”

The Star Magic World Concert Tour enjoyed overwhelming support from Filipino audiences when it made stops in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas.

Originally with a revolving cast of 40 Star Magic talents, about 30 more stars will be part of the tour’s Philippine leg.
