Robin Padilla to produce movie for Bebe
After the much-talked about Honda CRV gift Robin Padilla gave to his sibling Bebe Gandanghari, a film to be produced by the former and directed by the latter is now in the works.
“Naniniwala ako sa kakayahan ni Bebe,” said Robin on “Startalk,” Oct. 24. “At bilang kapatid niya, kailangan kong suportahan kung anuman ang gusto niyang gawin.”
The film is about a prostitute jailed in a men’s prison.
Their mother, Eva, revealed that she and the rest of the family have accepted Bebe with arms wide open.
“Nung una, di namin matanggap si Bebe pero nung nagtagal na [natanggap na din namin dahil] umiral ‘yung dugo,” she said.
Robin quipped: “Tanggap namin [siya] basta masaya siya.”

‘Manhid na ako’ – German Moreno
Master Showman and FAMAS Best Supporting Actor German Moreno said he does not have ill feelings towards love team Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson.
The two were a no-show during the awarding of the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award at the 57th FAMAS Awards last Oct. 18.
“Manhid na ako sa ganyan. Kung nandiyan, salamat, kung wala, salamat din. Nakita ko sila… pero hindi ko alam kung bakit nung awarding, nawala [sila],” said Kuya Germs.
He, along with Snooky Serna (Best Supporting Actress) and Allen Dizon (Best Actor), went home with trophies for their respective performances in the film, “Paupahan.”
“My second [award] for the year! Nakakatuwa, heaven!” said Snooky.
Allen, who also produced the movie, said he did not expect to win given his co-nominees’ caliber in acting.
“Lahat sila [nominees] magagaling. Ito rin ‘yung bonus ko, after 10 years na pinagdaanan ko,” said he.
