A week after a Manila Bulletin Entertainment Online report predicted it, actor Paolo Contis has finally confessed on showbiz-oriented TV show, “Startalk,” that his girlfriend, former EB Babe Lian Paz is, indeed, four months pregnant.

“Wala naman kaming balak na itago,” said Paolo, refuting write-ups that he allegedly refuses to take responsibility of the baby.
 
Lian said she is having difficulty with the first trimester of her pregnancy because of her ovarian cyst.

“Medyo nahirapan akong mag-buntis, [tapos] mababa ‘yung progesterone ko so kailangan ko ng pampakapit,” said she.

Paolo added that his mother already knows about Lian’s condition.

“Ang mommy ko quiet lang ‘yun. Of course it would take time [bago niya matanggap]. Matagal na hindi sila nagkausap, tapos maraming nang-iintriga…

“But I was there [nung magkita sila]. I’m very, very happy,” he related.

The couple will know whether their baby is boy or girl within two weeks. Lian said either gender is okay. “Basta healthy ‘yung baby.”

Nancy Castiglione’s message for Paolo and Lian

Nancy Castiglione congratulated ex-boyfriend Paolo Contis and girlfriend Lian Paz for their baby. She also gave the two an advice.

“Be patient with each other and make sure you instill faith in your baby,” said she.

Earlier this year, Nancy herself gave birth to twin boys, Mateo and Joaquin.

Carla Abellana denies reuniting with JC

The pictures published by tabloid “Pinoy Parazzi” which shows Carla Abellana and ex-boyfriend JC Intal together are from years back.

This is according to Carla “Rosalinda” Abellana who admitted she does not even know where the pictures came from.

“Pinoy Parazzi” editor-in-chief Raymond Agapito claimed they got it from Carla’s Facebook account.

“Apparently, ang nag-post si Carla. [Ang ginawa namin ay] straight reporting lang. Gusto lang namin ipakita kung ano ‘yung nakita namin,” said the editor.

Two months since Carla and JC parted, the actress admits she still has not completely moved on.

“Five years, hindi mo puwedeng itapon [ng basta] ‘yun eh,” said she.

Asked if there’s a chance for rekindling romance with the cager, Carla said she is “not closing my doors, anything’s possible.”

Juday not yet pregnant

New “Eat Bulaga” host Ryan Agoncillo said he and wife Judy Ann Santos are still waiting for a baby.

“Ang alam kong bago kong baby ay ang ‘EB [Eat Bulaga]’ pero naghihintay pa rin kami [ni Judy Ann],” said he on “Startalk.”

He hinted that Juday has been craving for mangosteen and lansones lately.

Cory Aquino’s house stays put

Kris Aquino said that her mother, late President Cory Aquino’s house on Times Street will no longer be torn down.

The TV host said she and her siblings decided to keep the house in lieu of its 48-year history.
 
She also told “Startalk” that she has been saving her mother’s engagement ring.

“‘Pag nagpakasal si Noy ibibigay ko ‘to sa kanya,” said Kris.

Vina Morales in no hurry to marry

Singer Vina Morales said she is not in a hurry to tie the knot with non-showbiz boyfriend Cedric Lee.

“I’m not really in a rush [to get married]. Kung hindi pa ngayon, okay lang, masaya ako to have Ceana [Vina’s daughter],” she said.

Bing Garcia still hopes to meet Jennylyn’s son

Bing Garcia said she has only seen her grandson Alex Jazz, Patrick and Jennylyn Mercado’s love-child, on TV.

“Naalala ko si Patrick [kapag nakikita ko si Alex Jazz]. If there’s a chance [na makita ko siya] okay lang, [pero] di ko na masyadong iniisip kung very remote ‘yung chances,” said she on “Startalk.”

Cheska, Patrick’s elder sister, hopes time will heal the wounds.

“Time lang [ang kailangan] and let everything cool down when everybody is thinking right,” she said.
