‘Boy Abunda is an angel’ – Aquino sisters

TV host Kris Aquino’s eldest sister, Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, thanked TV host and birthday celebrant Boy Abunda for “not just being an angel, but a living saint for our family.”

Ballsy revealed on “The Buzz” that Boy is their confidant whenever they have ‘problems’ with Kris.

Kris’ elder sister, Pinky Aquino-Abellada, is also grateful to the King of Talk for being “such a good influence on Kris.”

“Kapatid, sorry you gained 5 ‘kapatids,’ but we’re lucky!” she kidded.

Boy returned the compliments to the Aquino family, saying “ang hirap ipaliwanag na ang inyong mga sinabi ay pinupunuan ‘yong wala ako.”

Heart gave all in ‘Ay, Ayeng’

Heart Evangelista attributes her FAMAS Best Actress win to the tough time she underwent while shooting for the indie film, “Ay Ayeng.”

“That was the worst time of my life. For two years, my career wasn’t doing well [so] I poured out all my emotions into the movie,” said Heart.

Although she did not expect to win any award for her portrayal, she nevertheless is motivated by it to become a more responsible actress.

“I think I should be the role and not just play the role,” she said.

Suzuki confirms indecent proposals

Recent “Survivor Philippines: Palau” castoff Suzuki Sadatsugu admitted that he has received numerous indecent proposals.

“Ang dami po nun. Kasi dati nasa competition ako ng Bodyshots, ayun dun po nagumpisa,” the Japinoy told “Showbiz Central.”

He admitted that a proposal went as high as 20 million pesos!

“Dinedma ko siya,” said he.

The Criminology student was kicked off the show after he gave immunity to fellow castaway, Shaun.

Sheena Halili OK with ‘Pambansang Best Friend’

Starstruck alumna Sheena Halili said she does not mind being dubbed as “Pambansang Best Friend,” having portrayed numerous sidekick roles both then and now.

“Why not? Kaysa naman may bonggang project tapos bigla [na lang] mawawala,” she quipped.

Jewel Mische, JC de Vera team up

Kapuso stars Jewel Mische and JC de Vera pair up for the first time on “Dear Friend.”

“He’s very comfortable to be with,” said Jewel.

To which JC said, “Ever since, I’m willing to work with anyone.”
