Toni Gonzaga joked on “The Buzz” that she and Sam Milby did not end up together because he did not formally ask her to reciprocate.

“Nagtanong ako!” blurted Sam, who was beside Toni during the interview.

Turning serious, Toni said she has no regrets that things turned out the way they did.

“There are just some things na hindi naman natin hawak. I’m just happy. I have no regrets kasi mas iba ‘yong pagkakaibigan namin [ni Sam] ngayon,” said she.

The love team responsible for the box-office hits “You Got Me,” “You Are The One,” and “My Big Love” attribute the success of their team-up to their chemistry.

“Maybe we just complement each other,” said Sam.

Toni rejoined: “Opposites attract.”

Angel Locsin mulled shifting careers

Actress Angel Locsin thought about shifting careers after conducting relief operations and online auctions for typhoon victims.

“Kung ako [kasi] ‘yong masusunod, gusto kong mas makatulong pa. Pero mahal ko ‘yong ginagawa ko [bilang artista]. Pero sumagi rin sa isip ko, ‘Ano kaya kung gawin ko ito [charity work] every day?’” Angel confessed on “The Buzz.”

When asked what motivates her to help, Angel said, “Bakit hindi? Obligasyon natin na tumulong sa kapwa nating Pilipino. Kung ako ang nasa sitwasyong ‘yon, aasa rin ako na may kamay na mahahawakan.”

The Kapamilya actress regrets not landing the role of Sharon Cuneta’s daughter in “Mano Po 6: My Mother.” 

“Siyempre merong panghihinayang. Alam naman ng lahat na gusto kong makatrabraho si Ms. Sharon. [But] I’m happy for Heart at anytime naman po [ay] bukas ‘yung pinto ko [sa Regal],” said she.

Iza thinks ‘Tinik’ will test Nadine

“Kaya Kong Abutin Ang Langit” lead star Iza Calzado feels sad that Sunshine Dizon is no longer part of the GMA-7 soap opera, “Tinik sa Dibdib.”

“Nalungkot din ako kasi sa tingin ko, perfect sa kanya yung role,” said Iza.

She added that Nadine Samonte, who replaced Sunshine, “has big shoes to fill.”

“Mahahasa siya dito.”

Jolo Revilla’s new ‘agimat?’

“Agimat” heir Jolo Revilla is all praises for his “Pepeng Agimat” leading lady Melissa Ricks.

“First time naming magkakatrabaho. Mabait naman siya at sana maging maganda ‘yong pagsasama namin,” he said.

The meztiza actress admitted she initially thought Jolo was arrogant.

“First impression ko, medyo mayabang kasi tahimik siya. Pero nung nag-workshop kami, na-discover kong mabait siya,” said she.

The senatorial son also revealed to have shed 30 pounds for the title role which will soon hit the boob tube on ABS-CBN.

Donaire doubted he’d become a boxing champ

Filipino boxing pride Nonito Donaire confessed he never dreamed he would have a future in the sport.

He said he was very weak as a child, and that even his family didn’t think he has what it takes to become a boxer.

“But thank God, [I made it],” he said.

Nonito hopes to venture into music just like Manny Pacquiao.

“Gusto ko ‘yong music. My mother and brother love to sing [while] I’m an artist [who is into] painting, sketching, and music. Kung makakatulong ako with my boxing and music to inspire [people], gagawin ko lahat ['yon].”
