A mall executive died Tuesday when he was shot by one of two-motorcycle-riding men at a waiting shed of a commercial building in Bacoor, Cavite.

Gleen Clemente, 50, of Block 3, Lot 18, Phase 6, Kudarat Street, Bahayang Pag-asa, Barangay Molino V, Bacoor, was waiting for a ride at the shed when a man approached and shot him. He died on the spot from four gunshot wounds.

The two unidentified assailants fled aboard their motorcycle after making sure they had finished off Clemente.

It was learned that Clemente was on his way to SM Mall of Asia (SM MoA) in Pasay City, where he worked as an operations manager, when he was shot.

Police Officer 2 Amelson Ortega, officer-on-case, said the motive of the attack has yet established.

Ortega, citing a report of a witness, said Clemente was waiting for a ride at the shed near the ML Building and Shell gasoline station in Barangay Molino III when the suspects shot him at about 7:45 a.m.

When Clemente fell on the ground, one of the gunmen fired shot him once more and then fled.

Ortega said the crime scene was about half-kilometer from the victim’s house.

Ortega said he would invite some relatives and witnesses to shed light on the incident as police have no clue on who the suspects are and what the motive is.

It was the second time that an SM manager was killed in Bacoor town. The first victim was a woman manager of SM-Bacoor.
