Jolo Revilla, one of the more controversial offsprings of actor-turned-senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla, is back on the rumor mill now that the former is in the lead role in ABS-CBN’s “Ramon Revilla Series Presents: Pepeng Agimat.”

The young Revilla briefly disappeared in the scene after getting embroiled in controversy for impregnating Grace Adriano, bold actress Rosanna Roces’ daughter.

“I decided to go back to school,” he explained curtly of his hiatus.

Revilla said he is ecstatic about getting picked for the “Pepeng Agimat” role, not only because he is reprising a role that made his grandfather—Ramon Revilla Sr.—famous, but more so because he missed showbiz.

“It’s been sometime…I’d really wanted to work again and I’m thankful that [this role] was given to me,” he said in Filipino.

However, the young actor doesn’t relish being grilled about his personal life in line with the comeback.

“It takes getting used to but I know that it comes with the territory so now…I’m just going to grin and bear it.”

Like his forebears, Revilla is fast becoming known in showbiz circles as a ladies’ man—a reputation that he contests.

“I’m not,” he declared with a guffaw. “I’m a good boy.”

That said, Revilla has been linked to a coterie of women the last of whom is Lovi Poe—the late Fernando Poe Jr.’s daughter.

He admits they were together but have since "moved on."

“We decided we need to concentrate on our respective careers…on our studies…our families,” he quipped.

Revilla said he is currently “loveless” but denies making a move on Melissa Ricks, his co-star in “Pepeng Agimat.”

It had to be recalled that young actress Shaina Magdayao was originally cast for the part Ricks is playing. She pulled out of the project reportedly after Revilla tried to woo her.

“I dunno ‘bout that. She’s a friend...besides I know for a fact that she is already with John [Pratts, ABS CBN mainstay] and I respect that.”

Or could it be that he is just a changed man?

“Like I said, I am a good boy,” he said laughing, “and still very much single.”
