Video publisher to bring Sega games here

Gameloft, a leading publisher and developer of video games on mobile phones and consoles, is expanding its licensing agreement with Sega Europe Ltd. to a new agreement with Sega Japan to make its games available in the Philippines and the rest of South East Asia before the end of the year.

Under the new agreement, Sega’s Sonic Unleashed, the mobile game, which has been developed, published and distributed by Gameloft in Europe, Australia and New Zealand, will also become available in the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia (early January 2010), Indonesia, Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia, Lao, Vietnam, India, and Sri Lanka.

We are thrilled to expand its distribution of Sonic Unleashed mobile game to South East Asian markets, according to Sebastien Thevenet, General Manager Gameloft SEA Pacific. There is no doubt that Sonic Unleashed mobile game dual gameplay, coupled with this iconic character, will please millions of Asian customers for hours of fun."
