Mang Inasal restaurant eyes 500 outlets by 2012
Prolific barbecue fast-food chain Mang Inasal is 18 stores away from achieving its target of 200 stores by December 2009.
But at the rate of their expansion, stores are sprouting like mushrooms all over the metropolis, this goal appears to be easily attainable. And by 2012, Mang Inasal hopes to achieve market dominance with 500 stores nationwide.
Mang Inasal traces its flavorful roots from 10 successful stores in Iloilo. In September 2006, it teased the Metro Manila palate with its first restaurant at the Mall of Asia. Since then, it has established 182 stores, 32 of which are company owned while 150 are franchised.
This explosive growth can be attributed to an uncompromising stance for product quality and customer satisfaction, along with the expertise and unrelenting quest for excellence of their staff. They have also been engaged in a sustained and aggressive marketing and PR campaign, which includes the partnership with their celebrity endorser, popular TV personality and singer Mark Bautista.
