Rachelle Ann Go’s tearful performance of “Memory” during the YRS production number on “ASAP ’09” on Nov. 1 had some people assume that it had something to do with her recent break-up with Gab Valenciano.

“Siyempre dapat damang-dama mo ang kinakanta mo,” explained the Ultimate Champion when interviewed later.

“Ayokong magsalita, mag-expect o mag-hope.”

Gab, on the other hand, openly expressed his love for the singer.

“That’s not a question, it’s a given. Mas malaki pa siya [Rachelle Ann] sa puso ko,” said he.

Malaysian actress Carmen Soo, who was recently rumored to be dating Gab, texted Kris Aquino during the “P.O.V.” segment and said: “Helloooooo. Not true [that we’re dating].”

Kim Chiu wants Gerald Anderson to wait

Young actress Kim Chiu wants to spend more time with Gerald in order to gauge if he deserves her love.  

“Alam ko namang nandiyan lang siya, laging naghihintay pero [sana] more [time] pa,” said the actress on “The Buzz.”

Gerald, on the other hand, reiterated his loyalty to Kim.

“Siyempre hindi [ako mai-in love sa ibang babae]. Sobrang nag-e-enjoy ako pag kasama ko si Kim. Masaya ako, at sana masaya rin [siya],” he said.

The two are currently shooting for their new film which will serve as Star Cinema’s banner movie for 2010.

Kristine Hermosa, Jericho Rosales wed for reel

“Dahil May Isang Ikaw” pair Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales finally got married albeit onscreen as Ela and Miguel, the characters they play in the teleserye.

Echo confessed to have felt extra “kilig” during the taping of the wedding scene.

“Ilang beses na rin kaming kinasal [sa mga previous teleseryes] pero tonight, nakakakilig, kakaiba. Kakatuwa siya e, we’re [just] playing and enjoying the scene,” he related.

Kristine leaves it to destiny if they will still end up together.

“Siyempre dream naman ni Echo na ikasal. Ako rin naman. So abangan lang natin kung sino [ang pakakasalan namin],” she quipped.

Ruffa reunites with Zoren in new movie

TV host-actress Ruffa Gutierrez is currently working with former beau Zoren Legaspi in the 11th installment of “Shake, Rattle, and Roll.”

“We’re catching up sa mga lost time namin,” said Zoren in an interview.

Ruffa revealed that since breaking up, she and Zoren did not keep in touch for a total of seven years.

“I’m just so happy that we’re talking to each other [again],” said the former beauty queen.

She added that Carmina Villaroel, the mother of Zoren’s twins, is a lucky girl.

“Ang suwerte ni Carmina [kasi] napaka-loyal niya [Zoren]. Walang bisyo, walang babae.”

Zoren advised present and would-be suitors of Ruffa to “man up.”

“Mas mahirap ngayon [ligawan] siyempre [kasi ang] mommy (Annabelle Rama) niya mas mahigpit because of what happened to [her],” said he referring to Ruffa’s split from her husband, Ylmaz Bektas.
