Grand slam actress Lorna Tolentino seemed to have taken a swipe at her “Dahil May Isang Ikaw” co-star Chin Chin Gutierrez when she commented on a cat fight scene between KC Concepcion and Assunta de Rossi on “Lovers in Paris.” 

If the actors agreed to do the scene that way, it’s fine. Otherwise, it’s not right, Lorna said.

Some people say Lorna’s statement may be alluding to a similar scene that she recently shot with Chin Chin in which the latter reportedly got carried away. 

Apparently, Chin Chin slapped Lorna harder than usual, with Chin Chin’s ring getting snagged in Lorna’s hair and nearly hitting her eyes.

A broadsheet editor reported that Chin Chin also hit Lorna below the lips, bruising it. Lorna retaliated by continuing with the scene albeit ‘ad lib-ing’ with a profanity and ending with a swift kick to Chin Chin’s leg.

The same report said Lorna’s injuries were so serious that she had to see a doctor.

The prized actress is not taking Chin Chin’s ‘too realistic’ portrayal lightly. It is said that she now refuses to appear with Chin Chin in future scenes despite the latter’s apology.

In the same “SNN” episode, actor Gabby Concepcion also talked about the fight scene between his daughter KC and Assunta.

"Actually, hindi ko nakita, so mahirap mag-react. Pero siyempre, kapag shooting o taping, dapat alalay lang [ang delivery]," Gabby said.
