Manila Auto Salon 2009 to open Nov. 26
A comprehensive display of custom cars, sport trucks, modified SUVs and state-of-the-art mobile sound set-ups, and the country’s biggest automotive aftermarket show will be at the 2009 Manila Auto Salon from Nov. 26 to 29 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
Three events will be part of this show: the 14th Custom Car Show, the 14th Sport Truck Show, and the 3rd Mobile Electronics and Technology Show.
There will be something for every visitor – whether a fan of classic marquees, a car owner seeking advice to customize his ride, or just want to view more than 100 cars and trucks vying for the Best in Custom Car, Best in Sport Truck, Best Bike, Best in Paint, Best Engine Display, Best in Mobile Audio and more.
The Manila Auto Salon 2009 is organized by Tradeshow International, Inc., a member of SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) and PAIA (Philippine Automotive Aftermarket Industry). The event organizer has long been supporting IASCA in the Philippines. TSI has contracted IASCA Worldwide Inc. officials to hold an IASCA-sanctioned Soundoff at the auto show. This is the fourth year that TSI has been contracted to coordinate the IASCA event highlight.
The IASCA portion will feature a Sound Quality with Install (SQI) competition on Nov. 27 and 28; and an IdBL World Record Event on Nov. 29.
“We are very excited to be once again assisting Tradeshow International with the car audio portion of the 2009 Manila Auto Salon Show,” said IASCA Director of Worldwide Operations Moe Saburin. Jason Gay, IASCA’s international judge and judge’s trainer, is serving as coordinator for the IASCA Soundoff at the Manila Auto Salon Show. Joining him are two other international judges.
Other highlights are the Ultimate Tuner Award; Resto-Mod Display of Classic and Vintage Cars; a Die Cast Scale Model Exhibit, Garage Tech Sessions and celebrity interview sessions.
