TV host-actress Toni Gonzaga admitted that there were unanswered questions in her mind during the time her friendship with heartthrob Sam Milby could’ve blossomed into romance.

[Tipong] ‘Ay, bakit ganoon?’ [But] there are just questions na hindi natin dapat pilitin at wala naman sa kamay natin ang sagot," she said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Nov. 6.

Toni is cast anew as Sam's love interest in Star Cinema's “Ang Tanging Pamilya” starring Concert Comedy Queen Ai-Ai de las Alas and former President Joseph Estrada.

In her interview, Toni shared that her real father Carlito Gonzaga is just as "protective" as her reel dad in the movie played by Erap.

In all her previous movies, Toni never had a kissing scene. If there seemed to have been, those were faked.

In “Tanging Pamilya,” however, the TV host-actress locked lips with Sam.

Kung sa ‘You Are The One’ nga, wala kaming kissing scenes…" she said.

The kissing scene was required in their wedding scene in the movie. The kiss was faked at first until it was reshot to feature a real one for the good of the film.

"Sila nga, (Erap and Ai Ai), nagawa nila iyon para sa movie, sino pa ba naman ako para mag-inarte," she exclaimed about having to redo her first onscreen kiss.
