Talk Show Queen Kris Aquino is very grateful for Megastar Sharon Cuneta's recent show of generosity.
 
"Sharon gave me a beautiful, meaningful gift -- a yellow Chanel bag. She didn't have to [and] that's why super touching," was her text message to her fans via KText.

Kris asked for indulgence for crowing about the bag -- one of the more expensive brands that stars splurge on nowadays.

"Please don't think I'm insensitive talking about a Chanel bag dahil hirap ang bayan. Pero kinilig talaga ako na 'yong ina-idol kong Megastar liked me enough to give me a gift!"

The TV host-actress offered to guest in “Mano Po 6: My Mother” as a ‘thank you’ gesture to the megastar -- who has pledged her support for Kris' brother Sen. Noynoy Aquino -- and to Regal Matriarch Mother Lily Monteverde.

Kris reportedly waived her talent fee for appearing in the cinematic extravaganza.

"[My family] owe [Mother Lily] a lot. Doing the movie is just a little favor compared to what she has done to me and my family. A gift of my presence---and presence is the only meaningful gift I can give to Mother Lily," Kris declared in one interview.

The Queen of Talk plays Sharon's best friend in the sixth installment of the popular drama movie megged by Joel Lamangan.

Months ago, Kris, with the blessings of her brother Sen. Noynoy and sisters Ballsy, Pinky and Viel, texted Sen. Kiko Panglinan and megastar Sharon Cuneta asking the senator to be Noynoy's spokesperson. 

Kris cried when the mega-couple texted back: "100%"

As part of her support for Noynoy's candidacy, Sharon appeared in the presidential candidate's MTV-style TV ad titled, “Hindi Ka Nag-iisa.”

The megastar was only one of many celebrity supporters featured in the TVC including Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera,  Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid, Boy Abunda, Eric Santos, Ai-Ai de las Alas, Mariel Rodriguez, Bea Alonzo, and Kris Aquino.
