Janice de Belen’s ex-husband John Estrada has watered-down Janice’s fiery accusation about him being negligent of giving child support.

“Pagdadasal ko na lang siya [Janice]. Obligasyon ko ‘yun [financial support]. Wala akong magagawa kung ganon ang tingin niya,” said the actor.

It can be recalled that Janice was interviewed recently on “Sis” about her Facebook account status message that read: “Mahirap bang intindihin na ang child support ay binibigay monthly as part of your obligation as a father, hindi parang abuloy mo lang?

Janice said she is standing by what she posted.

“Those were my thoughts, I was thinking out loud.. I’m allowed to do that,” she said on “Sis,” and a week later, on “The Buzz.”

Although John did not address the issue directly, he did admit having shortcomings as a father.

“Oo naman, siyempre kasi hindi kami buong pamilya,” he said.

John said he holds no ill-feelings against Janice.
