NAGA, Cebu – Two Korean-looking men, found dead with several gunshot and stab wounds in various parts of their heads and bodies, were found dumped in a trash site in the mountain barangay of Uling, this town, last Sunday morning.

The identities of the victims have not yet been ascertained as of press time Monday but homicide investigators believed they were Korean citizens killed somewhere and thrown in the dumpsite in Sitio Tres.

Naga Police Investigator SPO4 George Canumon said the police failed to identify the victims, whose faces and bodies were bathed in blood, because they had neither wallets nor identification cards.

The first body bore four gunshot wounds, that is, one in the left chest and in the forehead, and two on the nape.

The other body, found a few meters away from the first one, bore gunshot wounds on the left side of the torso and also below the chest, buttocks, and nape. The body also had several stab wounds.

Police said the necks of both victims were also slashed. Both victims were wearing shorts, long sleeves and rubber shoes.

Police said a witness claimed seeing a yellow vehicle, with no license plate, stopping above the area of the dumpsite. A man onboard apparently threw the two already lifeless bodies into the garbage site. The bodies were discovered only the following day.

Canumon said they are working hard to identify the victims and hope that relatives or friends looking for two missing men would come and make the identification.
