Local actresses wanting to work with Robin Padilla are increasing in number.

After Bea Alonzo and Toni Gonzaga confessed their desire to work with the action star, KC Concepcion has now come forward to express the same, although she has her reservations.

“Gusto kong makasama si Robin pero parang ang hirap kasi naging ka-love team na po niya si  Mama. Parang nakakailang,” KC said during a sortie for Swatch watch, which she is now endorsing.

“Gusto ko po kasi 'yong image niya, parang masaya siyang kasama. Parang bad boy na hindi, na maginoo. 'Yon lang,” she explained.

The still loveless KC is now noncommital about her much-rumored romance with “Lovers in Paris” leading man Piolo Pascual.

"Like he said, we’ll focus on work first. If it's something that's gonna happen, it will happen.  I really don't know ‘when,’ although I would like to be in a relationship right now. I'd like to take care of someone right now but I'm not in a hurry to get married."

That said, KC is busy as the UN Ambassadress Against Hunger -- a job she relishes fulfilling.

“Matagal ko nang iniisip na magandang magtrabaho sa United Nations kahit na magsulat lang ako ng articles nila sa weekly or monthly news nila."

Working for the United Nations, KC admits, is one of the things she aspired for.

"Working with the United Nations was one of the things na parang naiisip ko lang palagi. Pag-uwi ko po, may nagsabi sa akin na na-nominate raw ako for national ambassadorship for UN. I thought it was UNICEF. Sabi ko, okay. Ayaw nilang sabihin sa akin kung sino pa ang dalawa pang nominated. 

“I waited six months. They sent me books and catalogues. They interviewed me after three months and then another three months, nag-report na po sila tungkol sa akin, kung ano ang ginawa ko, kung nakayanan ko naman ang trabaho namin. Ayun po, nakapasa naman po ako.”

KC said getting the post was a wish granted.

"Napanood ko nga sa TV before noong may in-interview na psychologist who said, ‘If you always think of something, the universe will conspire to make it happen for you one day. Kaya merong mga dream boards, merong dream notebooks para lahat ng gusto mong mangyari sa buhay, ilalagay mo doon.’”

As UN Ambassadress, Kris had traveled to Mindanao a few times to bring food to hungry children in Marindong, Marawi, Lanado del Sur, Lanao del Norte.

“They (UN) also sent me to Rome. They put me on a plane to Rome after our ‘Lovers in Paris’ taping. And then in their headquarters in New York,” she said.

KC’s passion to feed young people far exceeds her fears in going to war-torn areas. 

“May threats din po but they (UN) have been doing this for so long so hindi ko na lang po iniisip 'yon. They have civilians and military securities.”

According to her, the campaign is meant to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Swatch.

"For every Swatch bought from the Fall/winter 2009 Collection, it will feed a child for an entire month. This collaboration will allow KC to help as many hungry children in the country. According to KC, it only costs P10 to feed a hungry child for a day," she explained.
