Pioneer Insurance, one of the leading Filipino insurance companies has been recognized as the “Best Insurer in the Philippines” of 2009 in the Euromoney Insurance Awards.

Aside from the top award, Pioneer was also awarded as the “Best for Claims Resolution” and the “Best for Innovation.” The latter is a recognition given to the insurance company that best adapts to the changing market conditions and to the specific needs of its clients.

These Insurance Awards are given out annually by Euromoney, the leading journal of the international financial markets. The winners are determined by the Insurance Survey conducted by Euromoney every year. Respondents to Euromoney’s Insurance Survey are direct buyers of insurance at major companies worldwide. The majority are risk managers, while other respondents include chief financial officers, insurance managers, heads of treasury, and vice presidents.
