Man abducted, then slain

CAMP GENERAL ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – A 41-year-old man, who was abducted recently with his woman companion, by three unidentified men was found dead the other day at Heritage Homes Subdivision in Barangay Loma de Gato, Marilao, police said Tuesday.

Senior Superintendent Diosdado G. Ramos, Bulacan police director, in his report to Chief Supt. Leon Nilo A. dela Cruz, Central Luzon police director, identified the victim as Genaro Rafols Duata, alias “Jerry,” of Meycauayan City.

The body of Duata bore multiple gunshot wounds. He was also hogtied and blindfolded.

Duata's woman companion, Yolly Francisco Alcanta, 41, of Palanas, Barangay Pandayan, Meycauayan City, was also shot but she survived. She was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
