Man shot in QC

A man was shot in the face before he could fatally shot an unarmed policeman in Quezon City, it was learned Friday.
Investigator SPO1 Neil Garnace identified the wounded suspect as Ruel Trintado, who sustained a\ gunshot wound in the face and is confined at the East Avenue Medical Center.
Garnace said the suspect faces charges of attempted homicide and for resisting arrest.
The investigator claimed that Trinado almost shot and killed PO1 Jaime Lomboy after the suspect managed to grab hold of the policeman’s .9mm service firearm during the incident that took place at past 5 p.m. on Wednesday in front of a gasoline station on Araneta Avenue in Barangay Tatalon.
