Actor Geoff Eigenmann has come to the defense of her mother Gina Alajar, who has been dragged into the Krista Ranillo-Manny Pacquiao brouhaha.

Gina posted a shoutout in her Facebook account in which she stated her opinion on the Krista-Manny issue.

The actress-director reportedly posted this message: “If I were Jinkee Pacquiao, I would not give up Manny. Krista Ranillo is not at all worth it!”

At the early Christmas party for the entertainment press tendered by PPL recently, Geoff Eigenmann spoke up on the matter, saying “kung lumabas man ‘yon [Gina’s message], people have their own opinions on things.”

“Okay lang yon,” Geoff said in his interview aired Nov. 26 on “24 Oras.”

“Bahala na kung ano ang mangyari.”

The actor said he and his family are backing his mother all the way.

“Everything is under control naman. She’s in good hands and she has nothing to worry naman. Her family will always be behind her 100%.”

And what is his reaction to the Ranillos’ request that Gina issues a public apology to clear Krista’s name?

“Bahala na. We’ll see what happens. Anything can happen. I think she [Gina] deserves an apology, too, but it never came.”

Incidentally, Gina is keeping her legal options open against those she deemed to have “unauthorized use” of her Facebook message.
