Worldwide property-casualty and general insurance giant Chartis Inc. has introduced the Chartis brand in Philippines, as part of its move to roll out the Chartis brand across Southeast Asia.

The move will anchor the identity of the local operating company here to the company’s powerful new global brand, according to Leslie Mouat, Regional President of Chartis Southeast Asia.

She said all of the company’s business and marketing activities in Philippines will now be conducted under the Chartis Brand.

Mouat pointed out that “the introduction of the Chartis brand in the Philippines gives us a powerful new tool that will help customers here to see us and interact with us as a worldwide leader in property-casualty and general insurance that we are… and have always been.”

Chartis Philippines Insurance, Inc. (formerly known as AIU Insurance (Philippines) Company, Inc.) is the property-casualty insurance operations of Chartis Inc. in the Philippines. Chartis’ property-casualty operations are the most extensive international network of its kind in the world. Through this network, a broad range of products and services are provided to a mix of both business and individual customers.

Chartis is the marketing name for the worldwide property-casualty and general insurance operations of Chartis Inc.

The Chartis brand is being introduced in the Philippines in strict compliance with the requirements and directives established by the government and regulatory authorities.

The ownership and financial structure of local operations, and all policy commitments, will remain unchanged.
