Navotas city workers get more gifts
Some 1,465 Navotas City hall employees will get an additional cash benefits from the city government, which include additional one-month full salary plus P2,500 cash.
Last month, the city government released the 13th month pay of each employee.
Mayor Toby Tiangco announced the release Saturday as they prepared for the holiday programs like inter-school “parol”-making contest, lighting of the giant Christmas tree along C-4 Road, setting up of decorative lights on the main roads and the city hall premises and the traditional “Ham for the Poor” program.
The mayor said he had ordered City Treasurer Manny Enriquez to facilitate the release of the benefits to enable the employees to have enough funds for the Christmas holiday.
